We are looking for someone to provide 6 hours of care and support to make a real difference to a young man, broadening his horizons, developing his independence and supporting him to access leisure activities and engage in activities in the community. This might include walks, going to the cinema, to café’s and restaurants, to events locally and live music events.
This young man needs some level of support with all aspects of personal care, including toileting, showering and dressing, taking medication and meal preparation. Carers use a range of equipment to aid with personal care and transfers including a slide board, ceiling hoist and mobile hoist. Full training will be provided.
Minimum 6 hours per week
To cover one of the following shifts each week.
