Description: Personal assistant required to support a lady within her own home to cover maternity leave looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, flexible, and honest with a great sense of humour.

Duties: Personal care including assistance getting out of the shower, dressing, and getting out of bed, housework, attending appointments, social activities, and shopping.

Applicants must be an Animal lover and preferably be able to drive.

Hours: 14 hours per week

Wage: Meets National minimum wage

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 9am -12pm Friday 10am -12pm

Description: A Female Support worker is required in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 for a lady living in the Redcar area. The personal assistant will be required to assist the lady with personal care and general household duties. 

She is looking for support to help her with her daily needs. The lady herself is well educated and has a zest for life. The ideal person will be willing to support the lady to achieve her life goals.

Typical care duties are wide ranging. The job revolves around helping the lady with her immediate needs.

Duties: include assisting to maintain her personal hygiene, including assistance with washing and dressing, as well as helping with basic day-to-day tasks within the home, alongside administrative tasks such as paying bills. However, the care role also includes getting to know the lady personally and providing emotional support and company, which will contribute positively to her wellbeing. The personal assistant for this lady will also extend to helping her to take part in leisure activities therefore, duties vary substantially so that no two days are the same.

Essential Criteria: A full driving licence. 

Hours: Up to 43.5 hours available per week which can be job shared. It is anticipated these hours will be worked over three to four days per week – times and days can be discussed at interview but it is anticipated full days will be required plus 'bedtime' calls. May particularly suit applicants local to Redcar. 

Rate of Pay: National minimum wage

Description: A worker required to support a lady whilst her husband takes some time away from the family home. 

Duties: Assistance with daily living tasks like preparing drinks/food and supporting the lady in her parenting role. 

Rate: National minimum wage

Hours: 4 hours per week which can be worked in one shift on a Thursday or Friday (to be agreed with employer). Times can be negotiated

Essential: DBS and references checks will be required and paid for by the employer. 

Desirable: Non-smoker with experience of supporting disabled people.
