BANK Personal Assistant Job Reference 3592

Job Type: Redcar and Cleveland (PA's)

Area: Redcar – TS10

Description: A great opportunity has arisen for the chance to support a lively 8-year-old in the Redcar area. This is a Bank Worker Position.
Support is to access the community, go to the beach, soft play, and swimming. There is a need for some support with personal care, hand hygiene and assist with toilet.

Hours: Bank worker to cover of permanent staff when on holiday or off sick for up to 5 hours per week during term time, 8 hours per week during school holidays.

Wage: £13.98 per hour

Duties will include: To ensure the child is safe whilst supporting to access activities. The suitable person will need to be able to give the child time to process verbal information and use a minimum of verbal communication.

Applicants must be: Patient, reliable, honest and trustworthy. Knowledge of Autism and positive behaviour support strategies are an advantage, however information can be provided at interview. There is also an opportunity for the employee to access training.

Description: A Female Support worker is required in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 for a lady living in the Redcar area. To help the lady to be independent and change her life for the better.

Duties will include: Personal care such as washing and dressing, help with household tasks.

A full driving licence is required as you will be taking the lady out in her own vehicle for things like shopping and taking her out with her family. You will be helping the lady to achieve all the goals she has in her life, can you be the person who changes her life?

Hours: Weekdays 8.30am – 6.30pm and Weekends 9.30am – 5.30pm.

Rate of Pay: £11.44 per hour

Personal Assistant looking for work around school times   

Area - Guisborough

Description: A lady in the Guisborough area with a keen interest in Drawing and painting is looking for a kind and gentle PA to support her to access the community and in improving physical fitness.  Due to existing conditions the PA needs to be flexible and understanding of the employers’ needs as each day can look very different depending on the physical impact existing conditions may have. These can range from being able to go swimming, having a long walk in the near by countryside, to being almost immobile.

Hours:  This post is 4 hours a week and the employer is very flexible but would prefer a person who can support between the hours of 09.30 – 3pm, this will be discussed further at interview for the successful applicant. The hours of support can be split over a couple days or in one go depending on the employers needs but again this is flexible

Wage: £11.44 per hour                

Duties: will include support to access the community, to go walking/ swimming, possibly play tennis or go to local fitness classes. Also to support in the home and companionship.

As a mum the employer may require times when the PA would need to accompany her to go to the barbers with her children for haircut or to get new shoes. There will be occasions that the PA is required to support the employer at appointments.

Applicants must be:  Honest, reliable, trustworthy, show kindness, be patient and use own initiative.

The employer would prefer a driver with access to their own vehicle and mileage will be paid for by the employer directly (more information at interview)
