How to use this section:
DAD provides a full range of advocacy support to people across the whole of the Tees Valley and surrounding areas.
Please visit our About DAD Advocacy Service page which details the type of advocacy DAD provides and detailed information on eligibility
Each local authority area has different referral process, please therefore use the links on the left hand side of the page to access the relevant area page.
For IMCA and IMHA referrals please go to the local authority where the person currently is. For example if the person is currently in a hospital in Darlington go to the go to the Darlington section, even if there home address is somewhere else.
Within the service we have a number of different advocacy projects providing general and non statutory advocacy, some of these have specific criteria to be able to access. By visiting the relevant area page you will be able to see the types of advocacy available in your relevant area.
As a local organisation we very much rely on the support of our local community, and continue to support people flexibly to have greater choice and control and remove the barriers that disabled people and children experience in their everyday lives. We support over 2,000 people every year. But we need your help.
