DAD provides independent advocacy for people who need support to have their voice heard, their rights respected and safeguarded.  High quality advocacy can lead to people having greater choice, control, independence and a more fulfilled life.

DAD has a team of skilled and experienced advocates who can provide one to one advocacy support and also a range of self advocacy groups to support people to speak up themselves.

DAD can currently provide advocacy across Darlington, Stockton, Redcar and Middlesbrough.  In addition we are also funded by the Police Crime and Victims Office to provide advocacy for victims of Hate Crime and victims of any crime who have mental health needs.
