Vacancies

DAD currently has several part-time positions for Personal Assistants.

Applicants are welcome to apply for two part-time positions if looking to working full time.

Hours of Work: 15 - 19 hours per week, per post

Area of Work: Borough of Darlington and surrounding area

Key Roles:

• To support a number of disabled people within their work place at DAD.
• To work with young disabled people to access youth services on an evening and weekend.

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Sound administration and IT skills.

Experience:

• Previous experience of working with disabled people in the workplace is preferable but not essential.
• Experience of supporting young disabled people to access play and leisure services is desirable.

Other Information:

• Successful candidates will undergo record checks including relevant disclosure and barring service check (DBS).
• Full time positions will include both working with young people and disabled adults in the workplace.

DASH Playschemes Recruitment

Volunteers needed please!

Do you have spare time in the holidays?
Do you have a sense of fun?
Would you like to gain experience working with children?

If the answer is yes, you may be ideal to join a team of volunteers on DAD’s DASH Play Scheme.

Previous experience is not needed. Training is provided. You must be aged 16 or over.
