DAD’s Facebook page

DAD has a Facebook page! The aim of the page is to provide another way for DAD to share information with disabled people, carers and DAD supporters and also further promote our work. We currently support over 2,500 disabled people and carers locally, but we know there are many more people who we have not yet reached and hoped that through this page we will be able to reach more people.

Personal Assistant (PA) Register:

The Personal Assistant register is a list of people looking to work with direct payment employers. Employers will be able to look at the profiles of people looking for work and decide who to interview from the register. We would then gain further information on the applicant for you to then progress onto interviewing.

If you successfully recruit from the PA register the applicant will undergo references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
